Roomie controls iTunes on your Mac OS X or Windows sytems directly via your network. All your Music, TV Shows, Movies, and other iTunes content can be controlled directly from Roomie like another home theater device.

Sonos components can also be controlled including Pandora access. Cable and satellite systems such as TiVo and DirecTV are directly integrated with the Guide. All via pure IP control using no adapters.

Finally can throw out my overpriced, slow, and difficult to program Harmony Remotes – Roomie is extremely well thought out, has tons of devices, and works great with the iTach devices for IR control. A total surprise! -

This app has to be the most polished iPad/iPhone app for sophisticated control of home AV equipment. As a heavy user of CommandFusion's iViewer prior to using Roomie - you will find no other app that can control components via IP, serial and IR together with a vast database of AV equipment. Once discovering Roomie - I downloaded and programmed the app for a 5.1 HTPC driven living room, a multi-zone audio system and 7.1 HTPC driven home theater in under an hour. I had the Logitech link for a full year waiting for them to upgrade it to include macros, they never did. I was skeptical that a smaller company could make such a refined product but the Roomie really is great. Finally I can automate the lights, stereo, projection screen with one simple button. A great system. Much cheaper than dedicated high end customized remotes. It's not hard to set up just be sure to read all the information on the site before you set the system up. I had no problems and it has worked to my expectations. I would do it again. Purrfekt2

Best remote app for iPhone -

I've been using Roomie for about 8 months now. It's easy to setup and add/ modify macros on the fly. So I can create custom macros for kids when they ask me to add an activity to there rooms. I like that I don't need a computer to configure Roomie. and the drop box feature makes it nice because I can make changes on my iPhone or iPad and save it to dropbox. Mumbles1justin

Roomie would still be a bargain at 10 times the price. The IP and IR support are first class. It is the easiest remote to setup (touchscreen) I've ever seen. Not only is it easy to use but very flexible as well. Buttons can be added and default actions changed to create a highly customized solution. Dgeffs
